I’m a young dynamic anesthesiologist, practising at Helora, Belgium. I recently became the course director/professor of Anesthesiology at the University of Mons, Belgium. I'm currently a board member of the European Society of Anaesthesiology & Intensive Care (ESAIC) as well as the head of the geriatric committee. My primary focus is on perioperative neurocognitive research, a field in which I completed my doctoral thesis. My research journey has taken me to the Center for Cerebrovascular Research at UCSF. My specific area of interest involves exploring preventative and therapeutic approaches to alleviate perioperative neurocognitive disorders. On a personal level, I am dedicated to enhancing professional diversity within the field of anesthesiology.
