Joséfine is a critical care nurse with active clinical practice in intensive care, working at the intersection of clinical care, education, and professional leadership. She serves as Head of Nursing Continuing Education (FoRS) at Henallux and is President of SIZ Nursing, the Belgian association for intensive care nurses. She holds a Master of Public Health and advanced training in university pedagogy, with a strong focus on developing innovative educational approaches. Her work explores simulation-based learning, non-technical skills, and reflective practices to support competence development in high-risk environments. At the European level, she is actively involved with the European Specialist Nurses Organisation (ESNO), particularly in digital health and policy discussions. Her interests include the integration of artificial intelligence in clinical practice and education, and the role of training in addressing workforce challenges in critical care.
