Born: 15.04.1967, Victoria, Romania; 1992 Graduated from "Iuliu Hațieganu" University of Medicine and Pharmacy Cluj-Napoca; Since 1997 he has been working in the County Clinical Emergency Hospital of Sibiu, with short breaks of improvement or exchange experience; 2002 obtained a European Diploma in Anaesthesia - Intensive Care from the European Academy for Anaesthesiology (DEAA); Nov. 2003 - Nov. 2004 Specialist physician in Anaesthesiology at the Cardiac Surgery Clinic "Herzzentrum" Leipzig Gmbh, Germany; Dec. 2004 - present Head of the Anaesthesiology - Intensive Care Department, County Emergency Clinical Hospital of Sibiu; 2011 Ph.D. in Medical Sciences, with a paper on "The use of anticonvulsants for the treatment of perioperative pain"; Oct. 2017 Associate Professor for Anaesthesia - Intensive Care discipline at "Lucian Blaga" University of Sibiu, Romania, where he contributes to the professional development of the students and residents; Published over 60 papers in different medical textbooks and journals, some of them ISI-rated. Speaker at various medical congresses in Romania, including the SRATI Congress, but also abroad. Special interests: acute pain management, continuous renal replacement therapy, therapeutic apheresis.
