Originally from the UK, Dr. Shaylor completed her residency at Hadassah Ein Kerem in 2016. While on a Cardiothoracic and liver transplant fellowship in Australia, she worked with an anesthesiologist who was setting up a 3D printing lab and was inspired to develop different ways to apply 3D printing in anesthesia education. From there, it was a short pivot into looking at ways 3D printing and virtual reality can provide solutions to anatomical airway challenges in clinical anesthesia.

Dr. Shaylor is currently an attending anesthesiologist at Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center, where she runs a difficult airway anesthesia clinic and works closely with the Levin Center of Surgical Innovation & 3D printing to provide practical solutions to some of anesthesia’s greatest challenges.
