RECEA Vasile
Born in Romania in 1979, Câmpia Turzii, married with two children.
Graduated the class of 2003 at the “Iuliu Haţieganu” University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Cluj-Napoca. Completed my Master of Science in Clinical Toxicology in 2006 at the same University. During my faculty years, I have been an active paramedic at SMURD Cluj Napoca and I have started my residency program in Emergency Medicine at Cluj County Emergency Clinical Hospital.
In 2009, I started my residency program in Anaesthesia at Rambam Health Care Campus - Haifa, Israel, and since 2015 I have been a Consultant anaesthesiologist at the same hospital, and a diplomat of the ESAIC.
Between 2017-2018 I completed a Fellowship Program in Critical Care at King's College Hospital London, UK, focusing in particular on neurosurgical ICU and PACU.
In 2020, I completed my second Fellowship program in Pediatric Anaesthesia at Rambam Hospital Haifa, focusing in particular on Pediatric Neurosurgical cases and Pediatric Difficult Airway management.
Since 2022, I have been the Deputy Director of the Anesthesia Department at Rambam Hospital, Haifa.
My main fields of interest are related to Patient Safety and difficult airway management being actively involved in organizing many national professional workshops in these areas of anaesthesia.
