NICOARĂ Alina
Alina Nicoară, MD, FASE, is an Associate Professor of Anesthesiology with tenure and the Director of Perioperative Echocardiography at Duke University. Dr. Nicoară is also a past Chair of the Council on Perioperative Echocardiography in the American Society of Echocardiography and the Co-Director of the Society of Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists' ECHO WEEK annual conference on perioperative echocardiography. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed scientific papers and has edited books on cardiac anesthesia and perioperative echocardiography.
