I am a 32-year-old Consultant at “Policlinico-San Marco” Hospital in Catania, Italy. I have been interested in critical care medicine since 2015 when I was just a medical student, as I attended the General ICU of “Policlinico A. Gemelli” in Rome, under the direction of Prof. Massimo Antonelli. My interest in intensive care medicine has been directed towards airway management, cardiac arrest, echocardiography in critical ill patients, trauma and simulation.
