IONESCU Daniela
Professor in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care at Iuliu Hatieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Cluj-Napoca, Romania, Daniela Ionescu received her medical degree in 1989 at the same university. Currently, Head of Department of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care, Iuliu Hatieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Cluj-Napoca, Romania and of Clinical Department of Anesthesia and Intensive Care at Institute for Gastroenterology and Hepatology, in Cluj-Napoca. She organizes Conference on Perioperative medicine and critical care in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. She is member of the Board of Romanian Society of Anesthesia and Intensive Care and member of Outcome Research Consortium, Cleveland, USA. She is also chair of Onco-anaesthesia group-ESAIC and of Association for Research in Anesthesia and Intensive Care-Cluj-Napoca. Most recently, she is Member of Nomination Committee of ESAIC. Daniela Ionescu authored and co-authored over 160 publications. Hirsch index is 21. Her main research interests include influence of perioperative and anesthetic interventions on short and long-term outcome in cancer patients, bacterial infections in cirrhotic patients, PBM. Prof Ionescu was invited speaker to numerous international anesthesia meetings around the world, including Euroanaesthesia, Anesthesiology, ICISA.
