Born on July 20, 1952, Republic of Moldova. Graduated as a Military Doctor from the Military Medical Institute in Kuibyshev in 1974, specialized in Intensive Care at the Military Hospital in Lviv in 1977.
In the years 1982-1984, he studied at the Military Medical Academy "S. M. Kirov" in Leningrad, earning the title of Officer, specializing in extreme medicine and the medical security of armed forces.
In 1986-1987, he held the position of Head of the Military Medical Department at the State Medical Institute in Gorky, Russia.
In 1991, he obtained the title of Doctor in Medical Sciences at the Military Medical Academy "S. M. Kirov". In 1995, he achieved the rank of Associate Professor at the State University of Medicine and in 1996, he earned the title of Habilitated Doctor in Medicine.
From 1997 to 2006, he served as the Chief of the Railway Clinical Hospital, Head of the Republican Transfusion Center, Scientific Supervisor of the Intensive Care Department at the Oncology Institute, Vice-Director of Science at the Institute of Neurology and Neurosurgery.
Since 2006, he is the Head of the Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care No. 2 at the State University of Medicine, Head of the ICU Clinic at the Republican Clinical Hospital, The main specialist in ICU at the Ministry of Health, Head of the Licensing and Certification Commissions for ICU Physicians.
He played a pivotal role in managing the consequences of war conflicts, disasters, epidemics, and pandemics. He participated in numerous international scientific events (Helsinki, Stockholm, Barcelona, Frankfurt, Tel Aviv, etc.).
Throughout his career, he mentored a series of doctors habilitated in medicine, ensuring a legacy of skilled practitioners in anaesthesiology and intensive care. He has been honoured with prestigious distinctions and decorations, reflecting his significant impact on the medical field.
