WEINIGER Carolyn
Professor Carolyn Weiniger is Director of Obstetric Anesthesia in the Department of Anesthesia, Critical Care and Pain Medicine at the Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center, Tel Aviv, Israel. She serves as an Editor of the International Journal of Obstetric Anesthesia, ESAIC Member of the Research Committee. She has authored over 100 original research papers, reviews and chapters, mainly related to safe obstetric anesthesia practices including respiratory depression associated with opioid administration, and placenta accreta spectrum. Professor Weiniger is President of the International Congress of the Israel Society of Anesthesiologists (ICISA 2026), to be held 17-19th November 2026 in Tel Aviv, Israel.
