MEÇO Başak Ceyda
Dr. Başak Ceyda MECO, MD, DESAIC, FESAIC is a professor of anesthesiology, specialized in neuroanesthesia and geriatric anesthesia. Dr. Meco completed her primary and high school at Lycée Français Charles de Gaulle, Ankara, Turkey (1995). She graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine, Turkey (2001) and completed her anesthesiology and ICM residency at the same university (2007). She collaborated and co-authored 90 scientific publications (original articles, case reports, and reviews) in national and international journals and 12 book chapters. She is a section Editor for the Turkish Journal of Anaesthesiology and Reanimation and an associate editor for EJA/EJAIC. She is a member of the ESAIC Scientific Committee, Patient Safety and Quality Committee, Nomination Committee, and Examination Committee. Her major research interests include neuroanesthesiology, geriatric anesthesiology, and perioperative cognitive functions. Dr. Meco is married and is the mother of twin boys.
