Professional and didactic experience: since 2006 until now, he works as Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, discipline of Anaesthesia - Intensive Care, University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Craiova and his professional experience is gained at the ICU Clinic of the Emergency County Clinical Hospital Craiova, where he worked as a resident physician (2006), a specialist physician through the EDA part I exam (2010) and a primary physician (2015).

He has a Ph.D. in Medicine since 2011 and in 2015 he graduated a Master of Health Services Management. Since 2011, he has been a European Society of Intensive Care Medicine Instructor.

Postgraduate teaching activity: Participated in over 15 courses of the Committee for European Anaesthesia Education CECE, FEEA, ESPEN. In 2008 he participated in a Postgraduate Course on Acute Kidney Injury and Renal Replacement Therapy and a Postgraduate Course on Trauma, organized by the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine, Lisbon, Portugal.

Professional and academic activity: Participated as a member of the competition commissions at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Craiova, the Emergency County Clinical Hospital of Craiova and is a founding member of the Alumni Association at University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Craiova. He was a member of the Senate Committee – Committee for Social - Student Problems (2008-2012).

Research activity: He was a director at a CNCSIS grant and a member in 5 other grants and research projects.

Research and publishing activity: He is the lead author of two monographs, co-author of 19 national specialty books and one book in an international edition. He has 20 articles published in ISI magazines and 16 BDI articles. He has constantly participated in all the congresses and events organized by SRATI, whether they were national or international.
