Prof. Kuchyn Yuriy is the Rector of Bogomolets National Medical University since 2018. Since 2002 he has been working in different fields of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care as well as topics of invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, multiple traumas, acute and chronic pain management, regional anaesthesia, respiratory intensive care and various aspects of medical education and clinical research.
For years, he has been teaching in Bogomolets National Medical University, and he has administrative experience as a founder and first director of the Institute for Postgraduate Education which is also part of the University.
In 2016 he launched the European Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care School of Anaesthesiology as a director of the Kyiv regional center.
